Toah Nipi's Mission

Toah Nipi is a ministry of InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. Toah Nipi along with two other InterVarsity camps (located across the country) share the mission statement of providing "a place to come away, meet God and be renewed."

Toah Nipi's Core Values

  • SPIRITUAL ENVIRONMENT:  Following the invitation of the Spirit, we desire to make our camp a place where the Scripture is taught and modeled, where the peace of Christ is a reality, where God’s people pray and worship him with sincerity and grateful hearts, to the glory of God (Col. 3:15-17, Eph. 5:18-21, I Tim. 4:13).
  • NATURAL ENVIRONMENT:  Following God’s creation design, we seek to be good role models and stewards of God’s beauty and handiwork at our camp, as a place of safety, solitude, and quiet, where God reveals himself through His natural word in unique ways, just as he does through his written and Living Word, and nourishes the souls of those who come here (Gen. 2:15, Psalm 24:1, 19:1).
  • COMMUNITY:  Following the New Testament model, we strive to foster a community of fellowship among guests, as well as our staff team, that is genuine and redemptive, where we worship together, learn together, work together, eat together, and play together so that we might build up one another in love and unity (Phil. 2:1-4, Rom. 12:3-8).
  • SERVICE:  Following the example of Christ, we serve one another, so that each one is able to meet God.  We offer our best to provide a high standard of service to all our guests, with love, joy, and humility (Matt. 20:28, Matt. 25:37-40, Rom. 12:13, I Pet. 4:8-10, Col 3:23, John 13:13-15).
